About me
Chemical Engineer
Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, working as a Project Manager in Corbion. Corbion is multinational company, leader in the production of lactic acid and derivates for pharmaceutical and food industry.
I also worked for three years as a process engineer in the industrial area of Ayesa in Barcelona, working on expansion projects for several chemical and pharmaceutical companies.
I aim to manage challenging projects related to the chemical industry that allow me to expand my knowledge. I consider myself a goal-oriented, proactive, organized and responsible person. I feel comfortable working in teams where ideas are shared and different points of view are taken into account.
During my academic education, I acquired two years of experience as Research Staff, working on projects related to renewable energies and Hydrogen Technology. In addition, I did internships in different companies, in the Quality and R&D departments. I have also spent time abroad (Ireland and the United Kingdom) to improve my English level, acquiring a certified C1 level.

- Management of investment projects of different CAPEX range, including GMP plant projects.
- Development and management of the projects along the whole project cycle, from FEL-0 to EPC, in order to ensure that they are executed according to the agreed budget, planning, safety and quality standards.
- Coordination with all departments involved in the project: Production, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Technology, Automation, etc.
- Cost estimation and planning in the engineering phase and its control during execution
- Request, comparison and adjudication of quotations for equipment and execution works (civil works, structure, mechanical assembly, etc.)
- Management of subcontractors and supervision of execution works in the field, prioritizing their execution in a safe and reliable way.
- Validation and qualification of installations in accordance with GMP

I feel fulfilled when I set goals and achieve them. I like to know the "what for" of the tasks I'm assigned and I've realized that I'm more effective when the activities are broken down into specific tasks with set deadlines.

I'm used to handling a lot of information and documentation from various projects (P&IDs, equipment specifications, supplier information, customer documentation, meeting notes, etc), so I'm able to manage and organize it efficiently.

I usually work on multidisciplinary projects, which require collaboration and effective communication with people from different departments. In addition, I like to contribute to team-building in my workplace.
Analysis and interpretation of results
Strengthened during my education and experience as a researcher. Also, as a Process Engineer I need to carry out several calculations of equipment, instruments...etc and interpret them with a critical point of view.
Oral communication
I have successfully developed this skill due to the daily need to transmit information to the customer, to my teammates or to other departments.
